Apologies to anyone that has had to wait longer than normal to get ads removed from their site. We are currently receiving hundreds of these requests every week and we do have to manually check each site out before turning off the ads. At this point we do have a bit of a backlog for these requests, so we appreciate everyone's patience.

I hate to be a squeaky wheel but I haven't heard anything from wetpaint and it has been weeks since I first applied for ad-free status. Indeed, the question I asked two business days about the status of the program (i.e., do I need to buy ad-free status) has even been addressed.Do you find this valuable? |

I haven't been waiting as long as you have, but I can't be approved to use the site with my kids until the ads are removed. I have requested twice for the ads to be removed. Please get a few more people checking out these sites for us to disable the ads. We really want to start the school year off right. Could you please help to get this done asap as we need to send out invitations to parents and teachers to join. Work on this wiki has already begun off-line and we are waiting to check out the results via feedback.Should have sent out this message earlier.
