Apr 19 2009, 10:12 AM EDT
Just tried to embed a document from Docstoc. Copied the embed code from Docstop but the link in wetpaint has nowhere to place the embed code. When I tried the Widget link got an error message. Bottom line, how do I embed a Docstoc doc, please? Joel Do you find this valuable?

Joel- Docstoc gives you the option to grab the Wetpaint embed code. Once you've got that copied to your clip board, click EasyEdit on the page that you want to add it to, select Widgets, then click Other Widgets, and paste the embed code there. We don't have a dedicated DocStoc widget tool (like we do for YouTube and Vizu, etc.) so you need to use the Other Widgets option. Let me know if that works for you. Do you find this valuable? |

Joel:Michael is correct - but getting to that Wetpaint embed code requires that you get to the "View Document Page" view in Docstoc. Click on the "my docs" page after logging into Docstoc and as you hover over any document you'll see the word "menu" click on that and choose "View Document Page". Once on that page choose the embed button and you will see a toggle button that allows you to select a Wetpaint embed code. From there you just need to copy/paste that code into the general widget on your Wetpaint page. Do you find this valuable? |
