I am wondering if it is possible to move the Attachments section to the top of the Homepage or even create a seperate page where you can put all attachments. Do you find this valuable?

Sounds like you answered your own question :-)
Just create a page, labeled "attachments" and then upload your attachments to that page. Do you find this valuable?
