I had used Wetpaint wiki since its beginning and it was a good looking and easy to use wiki. One problem with it was the presence of a large number of advertisements. The Wetpaint wikis are now ad-free for educational sites and that is a good news for all educators.

...having discovered and explored Wetpaint more thoroughly and found myself enamored of the more exciting “skins” and themes, I much prefer to use a Wetpaint wiki... So, educators, librarians, folks who take others to skool, rejoice in your ad-free Wetpaint wikis. I’ll definitely be giving them a whirl, myself.
