Would it be possible to make Hot Potatoes applications compatible with Wetpaint? It would make many of our lives so much easier. To find out more about Hot Potatoes, please visit http://hotpot.uvic.ca/
It provides an over-simple way of making cloze exercizes, crosswords, gap exercizes and more, which I would be really glad to be able to add to my ESL website. Thanks! |

Could you not add a section that requires the parent to put in their e-mail address along with the child's? I plan to use my education based site for my students to keep up with projects (especailly my ELA students! Peer editing on-line!) Although all of my 8th graders will be 13 some of my 7th graders will not. I set my wiki to private and require the parent to return a form that explains the wiki AND askes for their e-mail to set up their students' account (since they have to be invited to join). Yet now I have to have ads?!?!? Cannot wait until my 7th graders study sexual reproduction - I'm sure I'll have to stop using a great education resource. :(

Recently, a new feature was added to PBWIKI which will generate student accounts when an educator creates their wiki site. Email accounts are not needed to generate these student accounts. The student accounts are moderated by the teacher responsible for the wiki. Are there any such plans in the near future for Wetpaint? We really like the features available in Wetpaint especially for elementary student projects (under 13 group).
