March 2009 Wiki Pick - Wikis in EducationMajor Mark Rea sent me a link to this video and wiki to share. He’s a Major in the US Army and uses a wiki with cadets at West Point as part of his fitness program. Recently, he recorded his students' thoughts on using a wiki instead of using BlackBoard. Some good honest feedback and a fascinating wiki.

What I love most about this wiki, and the other wikis that Major Rea is using, is they show how wikis could be used in physical education (PE) courses. Have a look around the wikis Major Rea has created and see if any new ideas on how to use a wiki in your classroom come to mind.

Major Rea:
I'm a teacher of Graphic Arts & Printing Technology and my hats off to you for the wonderful wiki you and your cadets have created. It's top notch - what all of us in education should be striving for.
Thanks for sharing this and all of the best,
Al
