| Terri -willinghamster@gmail.com | Tampa Bay Mentor Match | This is my first forray into wikis. I run a nonprofit education resource organization -- Learning is for Everyone - and I've long been interested in mentoring as way to build true community-based learning. Most mentoring programs I've found are for disadvantaged or troubled youth. I believe mentoring can benefit all youth (and those who mentor them!), and that many in our community would be happy to mentor if they had the opportunity. So I put Tampa Bay Mentor Match together to test my theory. :-) I'd appreciate others' thoughts and ideas. |
