Hello, my name is [Becky R from WI] I present to you my eportfolio published via my new Wiki. The purpose of this eportfolio is to show you what I have learned over 8 weeks while engaged in a UW-Stout course called E-Learning for Educators from January to March 2011. Becky from Wisconsin Here is my Bio- I was born in Rice Lake, WI, graduated from Barron High School and then moved to Milwaukee for 4 years to attend Marquette University. As a dental hygiene student, of course I got engaged to a dentist ;-D Upon graduation we moved to Merrill, his home town, to practice together with his father who was a dentist, too. In the mid 80's I became a dental hygienist instructor at the Technical College in Wausau, WI and have worked there ever since. In 1999 I moved into management and have had several different management roles. Currently I have come full circle because I am in management supervising some health programs at the college. We just love getting to the southern United States for a couple vacations each winter to warm up a little. But summer in central Wisconsin is beautiful so we love to stay around home and hang out with family and friends. We golf, swim, boat, downhill ski in the winter so there is a lot to do around here all year. Our son and his wife and their 4 kids live 30 minutes away. So we are very lucky to be able to watch them participate in sports and dance. And of course we also gather for Packer and Badger football and the Marquette Golden Eagle basketball games!
